My essayistic approach to the Apocalypse connects disparate elements: the Little Prince, the IPCC report on global warming, the Restaurant at the End of the Universe, the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, playing chess with Death, prepping for the End of the World – and more. And last, but not least; the importance of butterflies.

The book contains different approaches to the Apocalypse: I play with it—what if it was a theatre play, a memory game, an instruction piece, a lullaby, a punk song … ? Then there are reflections in between and a conversation in the margin.

The artist book was made for my exhibition Apocalypse and a recorded version of the punk song was played as part of the exhibition.
